Getting started on your Heroic Fitness Journey can be hard.
On one hand, there is simply gathering the will and motivation to get started, keeping it consistent from there. On the other hand, there is the wealth of knowledge in training technique and nutrition management you would need that not everyone has the attention or time to learn. There are also many different perspectives on fitness to sift through.
I wanted to design a system for people to conveniently learn everything they need to in the simplest way possible. That is what the Modular Adaptive Training System (MATS) is built to do.
So, how does it work?
How to Use the Modular Adaptive Training System
Select the Program Structure that works best for you
Select the Training Modules that fit with the Program Structure and towards Your Goals
Download the Pre-Made Tables for the Program Structure and the Training Modules
Copy and Paste the Training Module Tables into the Program Structure Tables
Why should you use MATS?
Individualization
You could very easily find a cookie-cutter workout plan from another online trainer. They will usually have a fairly rigid program created with specific exercises in mind for you to complete. MATS grants you a greater ability to choose how you want to train. You select the modules you wish to complete that fit the structure. Your training should be adapted to you.
Movement-Based Training
Many cookie-cutter programs have set exercises for you to complete. Selecting one exercise and progressing with it is the ideal, but some of us are limited with home-gym set-ups or are operating on a tight timeline in a busy gym where you can't always guarantee that you can get the same equipment when you want it. MATS builds Program Structures and Training Modules with Movement-Types.
For example, a Training Module might say to perform a Squat Pattern Movement - bending at the hips and knees and back to full extension. You could do a Barbell Back Squat, or a Hack Squat, or a Dumbbell Front Squat. You would select the exercise that you have the most access to, what you can do the most comfortably and what is appropriate for your training level.

Updated Perpetually
HFT is committed to creating new Program Structures and Training Modules for you to use and tailor your workout to your goals, whether it is for building muscle, increasing strength or losing weight. We have plenty of ideas for training modules but if we get demand for specific needs and goals, we'd be happy to build more modules to help you out.
It's FREE!
All of the Program Structures and Training Modules are available for FREE. I want to make fitness as accessible as possible. Cost is usually a large factor that stands in people's way when starting their fitness journey - gym memberships, home-gym equipment, groceries. It all adds up.
I'm excited to build out the Modular Adaptive Training System and help people achieve their fitness goals. Take a moment to explore the Program Structures and Training Modules and build yourself a program to get you started.
